The Austrian Welding Academy has as its founding partners, Bohler Uddeholm Africa, Böhler International, Fronius of Austria, a world leader in the design and manufacture of welding equipment and technology and The Austrian Development Agency.
The Academy has direct access to its partners welding process technology developments including the latest focus and developments from European welder training institutions with regards to standards, qualifications and courses being offered.
The initial welder training programs presented at the Academy are SAIW/IIW courses providing successful students/learners with an international qualification while exceeding regional standards.
The Austrian Development Agency based in Austria has played a key role from the inception of the Austrian Welding Academy and continues to support and provide co-operation in the future development of the Academy's growth plans.
The courses offer a wide spectrum from basic international Fillet, Plate and Pipe Welding to the internationally recognized Welding Practitioner and Welding Specialists Diplomas.
Additional courses to be offered include Welding Appreciation for Engineers and Specialised Welding of Castings and Alloy Materials.
