Special Materials

Special Steels are a result of the "Special Process" for which they are required to pass through before they receive the special melted and re-melted brand.

You will be able to differentiate between these brands and other "conventional" Bohler material by the brand name assigned to them.

The Special Processes would include:

Vacuum Induced Melting (VIM)
Electro Slag Remelting (ESR)
Vacuum Melted & Remelted (VMR)
